I’m a trained, licensed therapist in Salt Lake City and I have seven years of clinical experience. I specialize in PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, relationships, and life transitions. I aim to help individuals gain life-long tools to manage their unique challenges and increase well-being, even during overwhelmingly stressful times. My approach to therapy focuses on building resilience, self-compassion, mindfulness, connection, and life satisfaction. In my practice, I bring genuine curiosity, a calm presence, and deep listening.
I earned a BA in Psychology at Fort Lewis College and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver. After graduating I worked as a Mentorship Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters. More recently I’ve worked as a crisis worker for the Huntsmen Mental Health Institute and as a therapist at Ascendant Behavioral Health Clinic. I am skilled in CBT, ACT, and DBT. Additionally, I am familiar with Inner Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Non-violent Communication.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent several years as a professional snowboarder. This experience informs my holistic approach to therapy, helping others cultivate a stronger mind-body-spirit connection.
In my free time, I enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, and spending time with my baby daughter and wife.
I am currently accepting new clients via Telehealth. At this time I am not in network with any insurance companies. Check back for an update as I am in the process of being paneled with multiple insurance companies!
