It takes courage to talk with someone. I can guide you in building the tools you need to bring balance to your life. My approach to relieving anxiety and regulating mood is to come alongside you in discovering unhelpful automatic thoughts and beliefs. We’ll explore ways to be more mindful through CBT, ACT, and DBT.
I enjoy working with many different people groups and have a passion for supporting adolescents and adults on their journey. During my time at the University of Utah College of Social Work, I provided CPT and ACT therapy to veterans through the Veterans Affairs PTSD clinic. Prior to and during that time, I counseled adults struggling with addiction, depression, and anxiety. As a veteran and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have a first-hand understanding of issues faced by these populations.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and spending time with my animals. I also enjoy hiking with my dog, Jake, and road cycling throughout northern and southern Utah.
